Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before completing the form below.

1. Purpose of This Form

This pre-qualification form is an initial screening process designed to streamline recruitment and avoid delays in project onboarding.

By completing this form, applicants acknowledge that they are providing preliminary information regarding their suitability for upcoming roles. This process does not guarantee employment but allows Rising Contractors to assess candidate eligibility for current and future projects.

2. Nature of Work

Rising Contractors is currently seeking Civil Technicians and Civil Labourers to support ongoing and upcoming civil infrastructure projects.

The nature of work may include (but is not limited to):

  • Civil construction and trenching works
  • Assisting with underground asset installation (e.g. conduits, pits)
  • Working alongside excavators and heavy machinery
  • General labouring duties on active construction sites
  • Site preparation, clean-up, and material handling

Applicants must be physically fit, safety-conscious, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

3. Work Locations

3.1   Melbourne (Metro), Victoria

  • Ongoing project
  • Employment type: Part-time / Casual
  • Payment under TFN arrangements
  • Flexible scheduling depending on project requirements
  • Payment terms: Weekly payments on a one-week cycle (payments are processed with a one-week delay)

3.2   Wagga Wagga, New South Wales

  • Temporary project-based location
  • Employment type: Part-time / Casual
  • Payment under TFN arrangements
  • Flexible scheduling depending on project requirements
  • Payment terms: Weekly payments on a one-week cycle (payments are processed with a one-week delay)
  • Longer working days may apply depending on site conditions

4. Employment Requirements (All Locations)

All applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

4.1   Mandatory Requirements

  • Valid Australian work rights
  • Construction Industry OHS Card (White Card)
  • Current Police Check Certificate (issued within the last 6 months)
  • Valid Driver Licence (Class C minimum)
  • Must have their own safety boots and basic safety clothing
  • Ability to comply with site safety procedures
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Physically capable of performing manual labour tasks

4.2   Licences & Certifications (Highly Regarded / Required for Certain Roles)

  • HR (Heavy Rigid) Driver Licence
  • RIIWHS302E – Implement Traffic Management Plan
  • Utilities Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) Worker Accreditation (VIC requirement)
  • MSMWHS217 – Gas Test Atmospheres
  • RIIWHS202E – Enter and Work in Confined Spaces
  • Excavator Licence
  • Evidence of NBN Enable Registration (NBN Field)

5. Wagga Wagga Project Conditions

For candidates assigned to Wagga Wagga projects, the following conditions apply:

5.1   Mobilisation & Travel

  • Travel and mobilisation may be arranged or supported by the company

5.2   Accommodation

  • Accommodation will be provided by the company for the duration of the project

5.3   Meals & Allowances

Meals will be provided either:

  • As prepared food, or
  • Via a daily meal allowance / voucher system

5.4   Working Hours

  • Standard start time: 7:00 AM
  • Typical finish time: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
  • Hours may vary depending on site progress and operational needs

5.5   Overtime

  • Any work performed beyond standard hours will be considered overtime
  • Overtime will be compensated in accordance with applicable agreements and regulations

6. Estimated Pay Rate Notification

Upon completion and submission of this pre-qualification form:

  • Rising Contractors will provide an estimated hourly pay rate based on the applicant's experience, qualifications, and submitted information
  • This estimate may be generated automatically through the system
  • The provided rate is indicative only and may be subject to change following further assessment, interview, or final agreement

7. Work Expectations

  • Motivated and reliable
  • Able to work independently and within a team
  • Committed to safety and compliance
  • Willing to travel (for applicable roles)
  • Adaptable to changing site conditions

8. Pre-Qualification Disclaimer
